About a month ago, I posted an article called Don’t Bullshit a Bullshitter about a guy named Bill, who was the biggest bullshitter I’ve ever met. As background for the article, one of the other blogs I read had a great expose about Bill called “The BillFiles.” I’ve just been reading the comments appended to that article, which have been quite entertaining.

The End of the World? Definitely.
The Turkey generally does not do movie and TV reviews, but I am impelled to comment on CBS’s piece of crap, waste of time mini-series called Category 7: The End of the World. From its technical inaccuracies to its political agenda, from its sophomoric dialog to its miscasting, this is the worst garbage I have seen on network TV since the demise of My Mother, The Car, which at least did not take itself seriously. I had to force myself to get through it last night. Well, that’s a lie. I Tivoed it and couldn’t stay awake long enough to watch all of it last night. I had to finish the final half hour of what turned out to be the first installment this afternoon. When it ended with “To be continued…” I knew that I probably would not be watching the second (and, I would hope, final) installment.

Ten Down and One to Go
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA, November 5—Senior Day was a smashing success as the Penn State Nittany Lions (9-1, 6-1 Big Ten) took apart the Wisconsin Badgers (8-2, 5-2) in front of the second largest crowd in Beaver Stadium history. The final score was 35–14.
This win kept the Lions’ BCS bowl hopes alive. If they win their final regular season game against Michigan State, they will win the Big Ten championship outright and with it they will get an automatic BCS bowl bid. So, while it is not yet a done deal, Penn State has taken one more giant step forward toward that lofty goal.
