Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will have to pay $388 in fines for driving a motorcycle without a Pennsylvania motorcycle license and not wearing a helmet. Even though Pennsylvania law allows riders to go helmetless, that law applies to properly licensed motorcycle operators who have been licensed for at least two years or who have completed an accredited safety course. Ben did not have a valid motorcycle operator’s permit and he had not taken the course.
