With the 11th pick in the third round of the NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers chose Penn State linebacker Dan Connor. Having slipped so low is undoubtedly a disappointment for Connor.
More draft details as they emerge. I’ll let you know what happens with Justin King, who is the next Nittany Lion expected to be drafted. Tampa Bay is on the clock and they need cornerbacks to replace Brian Kelly and the aging Ronde Barber, but somehow I doubt that they’ll choose King after the failed Alan Zemaitis experiment.
