Penn State lost its steady punter, Jeremy Boone, to graduation. His backup, Ryan Breen, decided to leave school. Thus, the Nittany Lions are scrambling to find a punter for 2010, and this weekend’s police blotter might have thinned the field even more.

Anthony Fera, a sophomore punter and place kicker, was charged over the weekend with purchasing an alcoholic beverage by a minor. Who knows what this will do to his status on the team and in Joe Paterno’s legendary dog house.
