Another Penn State football season is nigh, and this turkey is way the hell behind getting up to speed. Therefore, my pre-season prediction is somewhere between 12-0 and the BCS Championship and 5-7 and no post-season. Are you rrrrrready?
Actually, I’ve been busier’n a cat tryin’ to hide shit on a sidewalk, so I wanted to let all six of you readers (unless there has been further attrition of the subscriber base) know that I’m still alive and kickin’, at least for the moment! Hope the same is true on your end!
Here’s hopin’ that y’all’s ready for another season of thrills, spills, and chills and we can avoid being Vandalized at the outset!
(I’ll be back sometime before the Idaho game with my discombobulated thoughts on the subject).

Well, I’m still here and trying to pay attention. I hope the “cat” mentioned above is not a Nittany Lion. That would be quite undignified! I’m looking forward to the new season starting and to the Turkey’s ongoing commentary as the drama develops.

Yeah! We’ll bring the salad. Any idea who Franklin will anoint as first-string QB?

Hope the patent business is going well. Good to see you back, and who’s going to be starting QB?

It’s like they say: Patents never sleep (nobody says this). New house on a few acres in Fredericksburg VA keeping me plenty busy, tho.
I don’t think franklin knows who the starting qb is yet.

Good to see you’re still around. It’s hard to get excited about football season when the daily temperatures are in the nineties.

Hiya, Al… I know whereupon you speak, being in Central Florida. We went up to Canada to escape it in July, but then they had a heat wave! I was accused of bringing it with me. Good to see you checking in here. I’ll try to get unlazy soon.

Welcome back TNT. Glad to hear you are still alive and kicking. I too have been busier than belief but having been on many cross country flights, I have been able to keep on top of Penn State and the Big Ten. Not so much the other conferences however.
