James Franklin Enjoys SoCal Hospitality
Penn State Head Ballcoach James Franklin had places to go, things to do, and people to see in Southern California. Shown here enjoying the royal treatment at Disneyland, Franklin obviously has other things on his mind. Like, it’s a 45-minute drive from Anaheim to Pasadena on a good day. (You take the 5 to the 605 to the 210…).

I think that Franklin is just trying to play it cool and control his overflowing exuberance!

Yeah, Drozz. Sadly, I’ve got the Utes by 13. They are a TTDNS and Franklin’s team doesn’t do well against TTDNS. Perhaps that is the reason for his frown. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everybody.
Think Vegas and the Turkey are right that 25 points is the maximum amount of points State’s offense is capable of scoring. The real uncertainty is Utah’s offensive ability. They haven’t played anybody whose defense is as good as the Kitties and I don’t think Utah’s offense can generate more than 28 points without getting some defense scores and/or turnovers.
Utah is more physical that the Kitties and they will own the 4th quarter. In order to win, Penn State will need to have a two score lead at the end of the 3rd quarter. I don’t see that happening, so my prediction is Utah 28 Penn State 23.
