My own words inspired me to take action on the periodontist issue I wrote so unglowingly about last week. The periodontist is history.
No, I didn’t shoot him.
Primarily about Penn State football, this is a tale told by idiots, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

The long-awaited debut of Anthony Morelli as #1 quarterback on the roster was portended by his performance in the Blue-White spring intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday, as he led the Blue team to a 17-0 victory over the White. In an impressive passing performance, Morelli completed 13 of 16 passes for 191 yards in the first half. Aside from Morelli’s passing ability, however, there remain many questions about how this Nittany Lion team will fare in the fall.

ESPN writer Len Pasquarelli wrote a good article about Michael Robinson, exploring the possibility that Robinson will have to consider playing positions other than quarterback in order to be considered by an NFL team in the upcoming draft.
“I’m a football player, plain and simple, and isn’t that what they’re looking for?” Robinson said. “I don’t know where this whole idea came up that I have to play quarterback. I’ve never told that to scouts. Never said it once. My whole thing is, draft me as a football player, a guy who has made plays in big games, and been a winner. And if somewhere along the line, you find out I can play quarterback, that’s good. And if I can’t, well, you’ve still got yourself a player who is going to find a way to get on the field and help you.”
The NFL draft will take place on April 29.
